Well, according to the website, that footage was shot between August and October. If I knew the exact times each scene was taken at, I cuold duplicate that footage in a program called Celestia by writing  a script that causes the program's "camera" to be centered from the ISS, and capture it's motion relative to the... I'm getting a wee bit too technical, aren't I? Oops?

Suffice it to say that it would be rather cool. Smiley I may just do a video of it without the time indexes, if/when I ever get both FRAPS and Celestia installed. Smiley

I just like da pritty pictures.  hmm

Sounds like far too much effort, Dave.

I've watched it twice now and think I saw Italy as well. Judging by the aurora, there's prob Canada, Russia and China in there somewhere.

I saw that page last night, and played with it for over an hour. There's a lot of info on all of the various things shown that you can read by clicking on whatever interests you. Granted, the information seems to be geared for a younger audience, but it's still interesting. Smiley

Found this on APOD. I have never seen geostationary satellites.

Look out for a chain of non moving 'stars' from about 3/4 of the way to top left to the center of the pic and beyond. They come and go but stay in the same position.
