Found this at BBC news site.

Do we finally have the technology to put Moon hoax theories to bed?

And this from NASA at the LRO site.

I hope so, I always argued that they should just point a telescope at the landing site.

Also, the fact that some observatory somewhere was firing laser beams up to the reflector on the moon for decades didn't seem to convince people either.

Some people hey lol

Comfort the Disturbed! Disturb the Comfortable!

I was going to make a snarky comment like that, too, but I can't recall the name of the movie I'm thinking of (maybe "Capricorn1"?), and I'm too busy to Google it.

Found this vid on Bad Astonomy Blog.

http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/2011/09/28/apollo-11-descends-to-the-google-moon/

It shows the Apollo 11 camera shots aligned with the LRO's data via Google Moon.

CGI you say, Data? Must be those aliens affecting your brain again.  alien

I've seen this Vid before. If I'm not mistaken, I'm sure you can see a foot print from the Soup Dragon and a Dustbin Lid with a Clanger peeking out. lol

Ah good some sense at last....exactly right....how did they film the clangers if they hadn't landed on the moon  Tongue

In case anyone hasn't heard of the Clangers and our use of them to proove the moon landings...

Now I have seen The Iron Chicken video and studied it in depth I must admit the evidence is pretty overwhelming.

I must concur. Given that the Clangers don't live on the Moon, but somewhere in outer Space and we have managed to get a film crew there on a regular bases, then, clearly, landing on the Moon is just a stroll along the beach. thumbsup
