Assuming an orbit similar to Earths, it would take about 3 years of looking to confirm a planet in that orbit.

If the goldie-locks zone is larger then the orbit could be greater and it will take more time to see the stars wobble (one of the ways to determine there is a planet there).

But we are looking and all will be revealed if we can be savvy enough to ask the right questions.
