With the X-47b due to start carrier trials are we starting to see the demise of piloted combat aircraft?

Thought you might Syber  Grin

It will be interesting to see what comes from this, the X-47B is only a test / demosntrator vehicle, I would love to see what the actaul designs for the combat drones would look like.

It's about as stealthy as my backside, and considering how much weight I've put on since I quit smoking that isn't very stealthy at all!!!!!  Shocked

From a 'creeping death' smell point of view, you have a stealthy arse.  Grin

The Iranian one is ok for surveillance but what sort of payload could it have? A bunch of bangers? (the firework kind, not sausages, though the sausages would be more likely to kill people with food poisoning)

I think the x47b looks really sexy, in a deadly kind of stealthy way. I did read some of the comments. I really wonder why a liberal, hand wringing, green, lefty, anti-war idiot would be reading about a stealth drone anyway, let alone comment. At least they're alive to moan about war after millions of people died for so they have that choice. ** rant over emoticon **
