107% Rule

The 107% rule will be back next year.

This means the drivers must qualify within 107% of the leaders. I'm not sure if this means 107% of fastest time that session (i.e. Q1, Q2, Q3) or fastest overall time. Probably not much difference.

If this rule was in effect this season then it would have been used 3 times so far (Valencia).

Kers and adjustable rear wing to be introduced next year too, that should help overtaking, I still say if they want more overtaking they should have a closer look at some of the tracks, quite a few of them have hardly any overtaking places, it doesn’t matter how much faster you are there is just no place to pass.
