McLaren bring two updates to Germany, one aero and one mechanical, then both Button and Hamilton set the two fastest laps in a wet “free practice 1”

Could this be the turn around that us McLaren fans have been waiting for?

It's early days but the first signs are encouraging.

Lotus too were trying out up-dates; their own version of the 'double DRS' straight-line speed boosting device, but if they use it in the race it will only be on Raikkonen's car.

Just checked the box. No live coverage of FP3 or qualifing.
Why do I pay the BBC any money?

Till the current year, we could look at the final qualifying session on TF1 (1st French channel, private TV), for free. Now by ADSL, cable, TNT (our digital air tv), we must pay to watch Eurosport (same owner)...

I am happy for you GT  Smiley

Shame about Hamilton getting a puncture, he would have given Alonso a run for is money.

Button had some real pace in his car, I think McLaren have made a leap forward.

So, Alonso increases his lead in the championship, roll on Hungary, lets see if our boys can put a nice dent in that lead.
