The track layout doesn’t really favour any of the cars, with a good mix of straights and turns so to my mind we should get to see a pretty level playing field, but I’m not forgetting the RedBulls and their ability to pull rabbits from the hat.

Free practice 1 and two are over:

Vettel crashes in a wet practice one, resulting in little practice time for him.

Ferrari have found a couple of tenths but Alonso has a bad day.

The Mercedes looked quick, have they made a step forward?

Oh! and Button sets the fastest lap shades

Mercedes were quick in qualifying, a step in the right direction for them.

Seems that McLaren and Mercedes have about the same pace with Ferrari not far behind.

Vettel, cool as a cucumber, gets pole with 1 hot lap.
