I seem to be well out of touch with this, so does anyone have any idea where I can get a pair of quality, 8 Ohms speakers from. Maybe custom built would be good.

What I'm looking for is something that will rattle the bones in the graveyard. Budget not overly important but quality is.  thumbsup

I’m totally out of touch when it comes to modern speakers, but after hunting around there does seem to be something out there that would rock the house  sign-rock-on

Have a look at some of these sites

'ere, check these little beauties out. When I said budget wasn't important I didn't quite have this in mind.  Shocked lol

(That's one hell of a link  scratch-head)

Anyway, I don't think the L.H.G. would go for it either given that's half the money we paid for our house. Huh?

Yeah, I might give those a miss too.  Shocked

However, buy a couple of them, put them on your Home Contents, damage a couple each year, I may never have to work again. Hmmm. shades

I'd definitely want to hear them first. £20,000. Ouch

Do they make the tea/coffee and nag you as well?

I like the look of these, they go down to 25Hz bass (very deep) unfortunately they too seem to be on the expensive side.
