Well it's the 21/12/2012 and I don't think I'm dead just yet, my little lump of this rock we live on still appears to be here also. If I take a look outside, the Sun is where it should be as is the English Channel. If I switch on the Kettle it heats water and the LHG is giving me grief.

So, all in all, just another fine day on Planet Earth.  Tongue

(Is anyone there)

I should think they will be, but I guess they wont be completely convinced until the 22nd arrives for the entire world, so maybe a little longer to go until the full embarrassment kicks in.  Embarrassed

Comfort the Disturbed! Disturb the Comfortable!

Freddy, your link is acting... Um... Strange. You may want to check it at your convenience. Smiley

Saw a couple of pigeons fly by, so far, but that's it. No Vogon ships, no flaming rocks plummeting to Earth, and no Hari Krishnas running amok. But the day is still young here, and the Mayans lived closer to ~MY~ timezone, so I expect it's going to be later, rather than sooner. Tongue

By the way, the following advert has been playing here in the states for about a week. You have to know they're going to have a "victory" advert start airing tomorrow. Cheesy

Well Dave, what ever the hell Jell-O is it seems to have done the job for us folks in the UK. Just one question, why didn't they fly the stuff in with a Helicopter, given that if the stuff didn't work, environmental issue wouldn't have mattered much.  scratch-head

Well, that wouldn't have made for such an interesting commercial now, would it? Tongue

Well, there are less than 3 1/2 hours to go, world-wide, for the apocalypse to occur, but I think it's too early to be anything more than Guardedly Optimistic. Smiley Keeping my fingers crossed, Mates!

Well Dave, what ever the hell Jell-O is it seems to have done the job for us folks in the UK.

Really? Their Jell-O (trade name) is our jelly. Their jelly is our jam. Not sure what jam means to an american; other than vehicle congestion or the bit a door closes to (jamb).
It would get confusing having breakfast in the USA except their breakfast is more likely to be pancakes, maple syrup and bacon.

Don't ever buy trainers for yourself, you will get embarrassed.
