Glad you liked it - it's from the Live Aid concert. I mentioned the Beach Boys because they performed at your version of it. Was an amazing day all round.

Wow 1976 that one. The video is newer though.
The video is of a Terry Pratchett novel. Not sure which one but one of the early ones.

Ah now I'm the man for Terry Pratchett books The book was rather aptly titled "Soul Music" snowy If we are in the 80's I fancy me some Specials:

Right, here's a couple of 60's hit's. Both instrumental and both one hit wonders here in the UK, just to lighten your middle of the week.
Video's, back then, were a thing of the unknown future.

One of the reasons I posted these tunes, they remind me of when, back in the 70's, the travelling fair came to town, set up shop on The Level in Brighton and these tunes were blasted out on the Waltzer or the Dodgems. Happy Days.

I use to listen to wipe out by the beach boys when I was younger. At my surprise I do remember for the longest time I thought they were the original artist, due to my bad memory. I never heard telstar before though, Great tune thanks for sharing

Was listening to Telstar again today, love it Got me wondering about if was still up there and so I looked it up on Wiki : "According to the US Space Objects Registry, Telstar 1 and 2 were still in orbit as of May 2010." Amazing

Their songs are good. That's a bit mean, blasting them into orbit.
