Some years ago, I was disappointed by running SL with a touchscreen. And suddenly I discovered Android (never too late)!

I have a modest tablet and installed the SL browser Lumyia. Works fine but many tips to learn.
The only thing I try to understand is how to see a movie in SL.
With Windows or Apple, we just have to install Quicktime on the computer and it works. In Android, I dunno. A solution?

Sorry, Windows 10 is great but, for now, my main point of interest is Android.

I don't have an answer GT, sorry, really I think SL need to up-grade to MP4 instead of using QuickTime.

Let the people at Linden Labs know that and everything should be fine, one day  thumbsup

Couldn't find much that looked useful on Google. Perhaps ask on their forums ?

I never liked Quicktime.

Thank you Data and Freddy. Perhaps I shall ask on an Android forum.

But, at the time when THE event is Oculus Rift, who really needs to run SL with a tablet or a smartphone? Stupid idea... Smiley

Indeed, but have you seen the system requirements for it - they are high and expensive  Shocked

Sorry, Freddy, I was kidding. SL runs fine (at least for me) on my four very ordinary devices (Win 10, 8.1, 7 and Android).

I don't need to buy a VR helmet with a high-end PC. Remember, I'm not a gamer. Smiley
