Thought I'd start this thread 'cos this video would be out of place in the eCig bit.

I know, I'm a cynic.

I like this guy. I hope more parties like the UKIP develop so that people power can come to life here. Not just having a country run by the same old privileged duffers would be nice for a change.

I posted this on my FB page. I think I know who will comment already  lol

Here's a good interview with Nigel Farage. Good because it is free of the usual loaded questions and side tracking. Just a series of good questions from a good young interviewer.

That video (the first, as I haven't seen the one Freddy posted) can be applied, almost verbatim, to the political situation here in the states, as well. Granted, we're not in the EU, but that's only because the EU doesn't want us. Tongue If they did, we'd be there too (much against the will of the general populace, just like over there), and we'd be in the same ridiculous situation as you, so you have my full and unswaying understanding and sympathy.

Sorry another video, but shorter this time. I know, the net has caused us all to have ten second attention spans...

Who came out best here then ?

Seems to me the BBC are not playing fair, it was a couple of years back. They, like other people against the UKIP, all seem to want to crow bar racism into it.

lol You are funny Syber, it's good to have you back mate  Wink

Nigel isn't afraid to speak his mind, I like that in a person, similar to our good old Jeremy Clarkson, both are heroes to me.

People pull out the race card too easy these days, political correctness is ruining our lives.

We seriously need to get immigration under control, why ? because we have a huge housing crisis that is affecting British peoples lives. My sister in law (in her 40's) still can't get on the housing ladder, they manage to save up a deposit but then the house prices have gone up again and they don't have enough deposit. You can't save up as quick as house inflation.

Something must be done.

That's why I'm voting UKIP  thumbsup

Me too. I'm liking Farage's honesty. He's kicked out the idiots. I think he's about the only one who's talking any sense.

I'm expecting my FB friends to drop me now, because I just asked if anyone is thinking of voting UKIP.  lol

So let's see how many play the racism card immediately and act like media fed sheep !  Tongue

It's not about race:

Intelligent and critical thinking people understand that.

It's about Houses, Schools, public services and the NHS.

UKIP's plan for a points system to enter the country will still allow for immigration but will keep a check on it while at the same time the UK will get the people it needs, Doctors Nurses etc. It's win win, if only UKIP could form a government but in this election there is little chance.  Sad

Best of luck with your FB friends Freddy

It's never been about race for me either, but that's what sells newspapers.

Yup! Typical, partisan politics at their finest. We get the same BS over here, too. Sad

Yep this is UKIP - the same party that won the 2014 European Elections in the UK.

They must know that because they have this page to remind them :

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/events/vote2014/eu-uk-results

Maybe they forgot.  Tongue

Well so far no FB friends lost and it actually provoked an interesting debate for most of the evening.

A friend pointed me at this site, which I liked : https://voteforpolicies.org.uk/

I got 50% Green 50% UKIP an odd combination. Mainly because I think we should govern ourselves and I'd like to save the bees.

Oh Dave - question for you....how's the fracking working out over there ? Do you think it's safe and worth doing ? I have concerns as do many here. I know it's taken off in the states though from things I read today.
