Duke Nukem Forever is out on PC very soon. Only 13 years in the making.

The link below is to the official website. It requires Flash 10.3 and installs McAffee crap that I imediately uninstalled.
You will have to put your age in 'cos there is loads of inappropriate content. The game is slated for being misogynistic but is back to the good/bad old days of PC gaming.

I can see this game is going to have some appeal to lovers of Duke Nukem.

The videos I’ve seen on YouTube, because I gave up waiting for the site above to load, all seem to be showing a point A to B shoot em up, hmm that’s novel for 2011.

Probably just me but it feels like this game took too long to make, it would have been special 10 years ago.

The company making it, originally, went bust. It was then shelved. They were 3D Realms.

Gearbox has picked it up and finished it. Mixed reviews, though most bad.

I just watched this, skimmed a lot...

Great graphics, but nothing new really in terms of game play.  If it moves shoot it...

I've done that too many times.

Agree with you there Freddy, graphics look nice but the game play… Hmmm put it this way, I’m not inspired to go and buy the game, maybe when its in the bargain bin on Steam for £5 I might be tempted to grab it.

If you want a full on shooter go get Halo 3 (4, 5? I have lost count but think it's 3) it's more refined.

When I say refined I feel it's more the difference between wading through guts wearing water proofs instead of naked.  sign-evil-laugh
