Ahh... well I put the paging back to how it was, but now I know.   thumbsup

I used that tool to do it, much simpler for me lol.  Worked a treat, now I have a 200GB W7 drive.  Whahay !

One more question : I'm about to format the unallocated space into a new drive.

I'm stuck at the 'Enable file and folder compression' option.

Presumably that's really more for archiving purposes.  As this will mostly be for games I can forget that right ?  In my mind if it has to uncompress things then it might slow things down ?

You are correct don’t compress the drive, and do format it to the default allocation unit size.
