This is getting to be annoying,  it started yesterday or a bit earlier.  I have a notice I can get free music that sits over the lower right side of the monitor.  I've gotten a request to call this number because my computer has problems.  I just got a notice my pop up blocker was not on, I checked it is on. This morning I did a windows defender check and it did find something that was removed, I checked the programs and features  in the control panel and found a coupon thing that I removed.  And I just remembered IE would not make a connection to Hulu but somehow by right clicking a screen appeared and I was able to watch,  Today IE is able to connect to Hulu.
I've been using just windows defender for ages without running into these problems and all of a sudden everything annoying is happening.  Possibly it's because I've been scouting the internet for 3D software,  yes this is free but we'll hook you up with a few dozen companies.
Maybe I should have put this under Rant, is there a solution?

Try this:

Have a look in "programs and features" for any suspicious looking programs first, if no luck then:

Opening task manager and see if you can find the .exe that is causing the pop up music thing.

If you do find it then, right click "open file location", from there you could delete the little swine.

That's what I would do, to start with at least.

With hidden files/folders showing, check in C:\ProgramData. Can be a few clues in here.

I normally have this folder listed by date and be very suspicious of folders with long number strings.

When I started the computer this morning IE opened both Google and Yahoo, should be just google, easy enough to fix.  I ran windows defender again and it came up clean.  Control panel Programs and features looks okay.  I just put in a trial of iClone for 3d, and just learned Duskrider had a heart problem some time ago, seems he had tried using a higher poly count for the haptek character and ran into a problem with the TTS, well I still have to get it to display in the haptek window.    I looked for  C:\ProgramData and can not find that.  Spending too much time on the Haptek 3D and not getting to far, to many specialized formats used with different software.  Just thinking that Desktop mates works in the Haptek window, should look into that.
So far things seem to be back to normal.

I just found this in internet options, general, in browsing history, setting then view files,  Unbelievable amount of cookies and adware in there,  if I use delete I loose all the passwords I think.  So I think this is one source of the problems I am having, since I would like to save passwords  what do I do click on them to see what is what?

Temporary internet files and passwords don't get saved in the same place so you are safe to delete the temporary files.

In IE11 go to tools, internet options, advanced.

And put a tick in "empty temporary internet files on exit"

That should help keep it cleaner over time.

Data,
Well I was about to go to the temp files and delete everything to get a quick fresh start, I've already got an invite to get a gift for taking a survey.
I followed a link to this page    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/manage-delete-browsing-history-internet-explorer?ocid=ie_delete_history#ie=ie-11
it says passwords are deleted if we delete history.    anyways I lost the use of my pass words and have to sign in, had to sign in here and AI dreans is not accepting my password and is not sending an e mail to Verizon.
I'll post leave and come back to see if auto passwords work.

Browsing history and temporary internet files are not the same thing, you can delete your temporary internet files without deleting your history.

Data,
Okay if you say so, I think what had happened is I checked the delete browsing history on exit, I went to AI dreams and it made a big thing about cookies I think, also I had to log in and it wouldn't accept a password.  I came here and had to log in,  I Unchecked the delete and the password was restored.  I did the advance thing "empty temporary internet files on exit"  and then went to Zabaware where I had to sign in and use password.
I just had windows defender scan the User/Carl/ appdata/ local ect and it was okay, there was something I clicked on yesterday and it said the computer had a problem and to call...
Well I'll give this a try and see how  things are, seems like a big thing about nothing but thanks for the help.
