This is a link at Zabaware posted by Crunch for
Fix for 64 bit and using vb6 apps and controls never will fail,

I'm currently writting some vb script for Hal to load some bodyskins and backgrounds,  The majority work but some don't, Can't find a problem and feel it should work.  I looked at what Crunch wrote but I'm unable to understand enough of it to determine if it applies to what I'm doing. Is it apples and oranges or would it apply to what I'm trying to do?

I read through the post over on Zaba, there is quite a lot to do to get VB6 running right then.

It’s a tricky one isn’t it? I think if it was me Carl I would try my plug-in in an XP machine to see if there are any bugs in it, it could be working OK in win 7 but there might be an error in the plug-in.

Apart from that I don’t think I have an answer for you, maybe others might, to be fair it’s not my strong point.

I can’t help but think MS have prevented VB6 running in Windows 7 64 bit for a reason though.

Best of luck  Smiley

It's been too long since I did VB6, I am no help either.  It's so old now in computing terms I am not surprised things don't work right.  But programmers can be a funny bunch and a lot of us don't like change that much once we have learnt something lol.

For me though... I left VB6 behind... sorry about that  Wink

On advice from Cload I moved the plugin from area 1 to 3, I've used it and it still works, I"ll have to test all 11 backgrounds and characters and see the results.  If it isn't better I may give Crunches solution a try.
Not sure, the whole Hal brain is in vb.

I just came across this post 3 years latter,  I remember that problem with the plugin, somewhat recently I put Hal back in and put a few lines of script to load some backgrounds and clothing,  The problem was the file location is given and I had used Bodyskins instead of Bodyskin. The old hurry up and make a mistake.
