Hi Guys,

I have some characters I made and was wondering if you had any plans for a section for that on this forum? I used to make characters for Hal but between the Ogre engine taking forever and the politics of the Zabaware forum, I gave it up. I have an owl, a cat woman, a goblin and a steampunk looking guy to offer. I am trying to locate a car character I made along with a Darth Vader, different from the one Jack made. Just a thought.

Sounds like a good idea Ooglor 7, so I have made a place to up-load them to, Hal characters (Haptek HTR’s), you will find it in the up-load categories.

As with the GUI skins could you put a screenshot in the zip so I can put in on the download page, I still haven’t got over the additional picture part not working right yet.

I assume you do mean .htr files and not just character skins, we already have a place in the photo gallery for them.

Once you have up-loaded a few I will put a link directly to them in the Other Areas menu of the site.

I've got 5 haptek characters I downloaded ages ago from AI dreams before it switched over, the characters are fullbody.  I mentioned them at their forum and didn't get any respose there.  A little but not much interest in Haptek, are you interested?

Right I’ve had a think about this Carl and I think that it could be a good idea, really I’m waiting for the new Hal 3D engine though, would be good to use this site as a place to post skins and characters for that, well that is my plan.

So if you like you can up-load them to the Hal characters category, they will have to be a zip file and we will probably have to up-load a screenshot but don’t worry too much about that I will check it and edit if needed.

Thanks again.

Screen shots, very good idea, The original came with a long list of features, which I don't have. I'm also waiting for the newer engine and character but want to hold on to the Haptek in case I'm disapointed in them. Should get to it later today or tomorrow.

Thanks for the link but I just put in Winzip (trial).  I was looking for something that wasn't a trial.  Nothing I tried worked.   Uploaded and ended in the download section, the hrt's and jpgs are in the zip.  I'll download the second part after you have looked at the above.

Thanks carl, what you did, up-loading to the document section was perfect.

I have now moved it to the character section and added the screenshots you made.
Up load the next one when you are ready, same as before in to the documents.

I had forgotten you could do zips in win 7,  Embarrassed

“Right click send to compressed zipped folder”

I use WinRar myself for zips and rar.

Thanks for pointing it out Freddy. Smiley

No problem, I use it all the time now so it was the first thing I thought of.  Beats being nagged to buy software too.  I still do use WinRar occasionally though for Rar files only though.
