Here is a GUI featuring lips in JavaScript, I'm developing.
Dave and I started discussing related topics at Datahopa.
So, I figured I'd share my early prototype publicly here.    

The "talking" demo stops after a few seconds.  It does not
loop endlessly.  The Speak button repeats the process.  As
it has not been tested much, your feedback is appreciated.

No voice yet.  This proof of concept demonstrates that the
mouth is under program control.  As such, it is on track to
add audio for lipsync, I think, as a future pre-alpha test.

Controlling the duration of an animation is key.   Essentially, it sets up a time line.
