Let me assure you there are!

In fact I believe a high proportion of people see them but are unaware of it at the time. I myself have seen at least two, and I never realised at the time they were in fact ghosts. Only later did I find out that one had died a month earlier and the other in fact was still very much alive and well! He just happened to be somewhere other then the place I saw him! Oh yes, you can see ghosts of the living just the same as those of the dead! More on these later though.

For now we will concentrate on the ghost of people who have died. Indeed the first thing that people tell me when they are reporting a ghost encounter is, "but he looked so real!" The big difference being that in fact the person they had seen happened to have died some months or years ago.

Most of these encounters happened to friends of mine. But as often happens once people heard I was writing a ghost book the whole thing snowballed and people would get in touch from all over the place even the USA to tell me their tale.

I feel certain the stories are true but you will just have to be like me and trust to their honesty. Though I can not see for the life of me why anyone would want to invent these tales!
