Good find that Syber, I didn't realise that SNC had got that far in development of the Deream CHaser.

Both interesting articles.

Syber. I like the way they're harking back to the ideas in the X-24A (HL-10 from the 6 million dollar man) and X-38. Make sense to just send crew without payload as payloads are much cheaper to send on a rocket.

DD. But what does it look like? Found this, very Apollo capsule looking.

Neither did I until I came across the article. However there are seems that there are no engines installed as one can see from the second photo within the photo gallery.

The thing about rockets though is that if they're having to lift "delicate cargo" (e.g. squishy humans, or other things that can't withstand higher G forces), they don't work as efficiently as they could otherwise. Granted the drop in efficiency isn't much, but it's there, and it's significant over time.
