After Massa's accident, and the accident that killed Formula 2 driver Henry Surtees the FIA are looking at ways to protect drivers further:

Frankly the cars will look hideous with a front roll bar.

I'm also struggling to see how a front bar won't affect the vision, which is limited enough as it is 

Put a canopy over the cockpit and pods over the wheels. Better airflow.

It looks good, but they have already pretty much ruled out canopies due to vision distortions (Even though the fighter jet one worked well in the crash tests, although you would expect that as they are designed to resist bird strikes at high speed!!!!)

I fully agree that something is going to be required, especially after what happened to Surtees, but I just hope they find a way to keep the asthetics as well.

For anyone that doesnt know Henry Surtees (18 year old son of the former F1 & motorcycling champion) was killed but a wheel that came off another car in an accident hitting him in the head.

I use to play Gran Tourismo 1, 2, and 3. on the ps1 and ps2. I loved the game, and still own gt3  but I never play it anymore. I stopped playing console games around the time ps3 and the xbox came out.

It is amazing that they actually built the car just for a game  
I guess that is the reason why it has matchbox car like features.
I would not mind taking that car for a quick lap or two maybe even 3

I like the canopy Idea, too bad it is not suitable for f1, sure gives the f1 a fast look

So I guess that is what an F1 car would look like if the restrictions applied by the FIA were lifted, and the designs, such has Adrian Newey, were free to design the perfect racing machine.

And look FIA, it has head protection already built in.
