The Monaco GP of 2012

Not one of my favourite tracks (racing wise) so rarely do we get overtaking there but when or if we do it gives us something to cheer about I guess.

As I type this Qualifying hasn’t taken place, so important to get a good qualifying here, it’s almost as important as the race its self.

So who is looking like they might get poll?

Going from free practice, Lotus look strong as do Ferrari and McLaren.

Going from the last race the McLaren has the better car on the tight twisty corners.

Add them together and for me McLaren just has the edge.

Looking forward to Quali.

May the fastest driver and car combination get poll.

Race over flag

Won by Mark Webber from the front, didn’t see one overtake, very disappointing and unexciting race  Sad.

But 6 races and six different winners, not been done before.

Bring on Canada, lets see some overtaking.

All overtaking done via pit stops. Usual Monaco.

Seeing as Hamilton hasn't won a race yet, I can only hope he does it next time out and makes it 7 races with 7 winners.

After Monaco, in the evening, I watched Indianapolis live on a sport channel (Barrichello was one of the rookies!!). Very different and a little faster. Grin
