I couldn't let this GP go past without a mention, the first ever F1 race at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin Texas.

I hope its a success, I'm sure it will be, the track looks great with some very fast corners, will look even better with the cars on it.

Going from practice times its the usual contenders at the top, so no big surprises yet, looking forward to the race, lets hope we get to see some nice overtaking on this unknown circuit.

Yes GT, I agree that was nice of Vettel to applaud Hamilton for his win.

What was that? Hamilton won the first GP in Texas  Cool, congratulations Lewis, you drove your socks off  Cheesy

What a great race with plenty of overtaking, the track lived up to expectations and is probably one of the best tracks in the world, well done to the USA.  thumbsup

Looking forward to the final showdown, we don't have long to wait, what a season to go right down to the last race.

I've done some maths but not checked the stats.

If Alonso gets 1st in Brazil and Vettel gets 4th, they will have the same points. Not sure who has more wins.

Really liked the Texas track. If you have a lot more speed, you can get past. If a little more, and a good driver in front, then it's very difficult to get past. Well, untill the back markers get in the way.

All the best, classic tracks, have fast technical corners. So has this one. Give it some time and I rekon it'll become a classic.

EDIT. Just checked and it's 5:3 wins Vettel:Alonso at the mo. So will be 5:4 if as above. Vettel still wins.
