I have added links to five F1 websites at the top of every page in the F1 section of this forum.

Found the new links, thanks, I still think the BBC site is the best, my favourite.

I still like formula1.com for the java timing app.
It's good to see the green/purple timings come up, same as what the commentators see.

If only my PC was next to my TV, DOH!

Snowcrash what is the URL for the live timing app?

I might add it to the links at the top of the page.

A good site for you guys is James Allens F1 tweets. It basically shows all the tweets from drivers/teams and F1 sites and is always up to date. If you have not seen it here is the link

Another good site is F1 fanatic although the BBC has to be the best simply due to all the videos they put on their.

You can get the live timing by registering here
http://www.formula1.com/live_timing/

it does require your valid email for confirmation and it will install Sun Java 2 that puts up a prefered o/s of everything except vista and win7.

I have installed it and it all seems to work (I'm running win7). Haven't tested it with race running yet.

Aha ... with the Java app running win7 goes into colour compatability mode.

What this does is makes my screen flicker once and it turns off transparencey and the small windows when you hover over task bar icons (they become lines of text)

When you close the app the screen flickers once again and everything is back to normal.
