ITV Player

Rant Time AGAIN. Evil

Currently the Rugby World Cup is in full swing in New Zealand. Here in the UK we are privileged to be able to watch all the matches via Independent Television. Meaning we don't have to pay up-front.

ITV provide a free service called ITV Player allowing us to watch whatever, on catch-up. For those who work odd shift's ie, me, this service is invaluable.

Now, I understand and tolerate the adverts, after all something has got to pay for this service, but at least get it working right, poor picture quality, reset after reset, cutting out, it's really not good enough. If you don't have the technology to run these systems, then please don't bid for the coverage, leave it to those who know how to do it. very-angry

If your not sure how to sort this out, ring the experts, the BBC.

Short of giving up my job and getting up at Oh Christ Thirty, so I can watch the games live, your service is my only option. hmm

SORT IT OUT. headbang

Rant over AGAIN.

Re: ITV Player

Spot on Diesel, it’s a shame about the adverts but like you said, someone has to pay for it so we forgive them for that, but the quality of service, hmmm

Yes ITV have a lot of catching up to do when compared to the BBC iPlayer.

All I can say, other than agreeing with you, is...

Don't try 4OD  Shocked

The Beeb have far more budget than the independents but to me that means the others should try harder.

Having a school report flashback now.  shades

Re: ITV Player

Well what do you know. The last time I used ITV Player, it worked perfectly, streaming was good, no interruptions, picture quality could be better, but, much improved.

Do you think someone is watching, reading, taking note. scratch-head

Still, I'm not holding my breath. Sad
