Anyone have a gloss finish monitor they could tell me about ?

I'm looking at some nice 27" IPS monitors and some are matte and others are gloss screen.

My current monitor is matte and handles reflections okay, they are minimal.  But I don't know what a gloss finish screen looks like, do they reflect a lot ?  For example my bezel is gloss piano finish and you can see reflections clearly in that.

I am in a room where the window is behind me, so I am concerned that if I get a gloss finish screen, all I am going to see is reflections.

Any thoughts please ?

I actually considered the finish of the monitors I was looking at when I was looking at them for my current setup, and for me, gloss finish was out, for exactly that reason. My computer almost always sits across from any windows in my room, so reflections were a potential issue. If you can, try to do a "hands on" comparison at your local "geek~porium", to see first hand which would be better for you, as there are advantages and disadvantages with each type.

My 3 monitors I bought are matte finished as well, why did I buy matte?
I bought matte finish because I create content, and need to see details onscreen without glare.

why I like glossy screens:  they make good content visually appealing look a lot better.

My theory is if your creating content go matte, if your looking at content go glossy

Data thanks.  A glossy screen is going to be like my glossy bezel then it seems, so I think I have to avoid them.

One I am interested in comes in a semi-matte, which is a sort of middle ground I think.

Ok, now my keyboard is all slimy from the copious quantities of drool.

The first one is on NewEgg for $600USD, which is not much less than I spent for all 4 of my current ones.

I reckon something like this would make a good monitor, top make, large screen, 1080HD, 30w power consumption and great value for money.
