Oculus Rift

Finally VR is almost upon us. Since the Virtuality games of 20 years ago, no one has really come up with a decent head set.

Oculus Rift now have a 2x 1080 screen head set. Their website.

Couple this with WizDish. Their website.

There are several games that will support this hardware inc. Half Life 2 and GRID. With many new releases.

Re: Oculus Rift

This is the third model. Development Kit 1, DK2 and now Crescent Bay.

It looks like this will be coming to market summer 2015.

Re: Oculus Rift

This is a Samsung Gear VR that uses a Galaxy Note 4. Samsung in partnership with Oculus.

Interesting.

Re: Oculus Rift

Looks like they're showcasing their consumer version in E3 next week. Should be available to buy later this year.

And a vid to see what's happening.
