Pollution

It's a lovely clear day today  Cool

I was watching the news this morning and took a screen shot of London at 8:32am.

Clear signs of pollution in the air, people are breathing that crap in  Shocked

Re: Pollution

Although Worcester is a city we seem to be okay, I've always heard London has a lot of fog, over here it is California that has the worst pollution problem and has quite a few EV's.

Re: Pollution

One place I lived in London (of many) was right next to a dual carriageway - you couldn't open the windows, it stank.

Re: Pollution

I thought that photo might be showing the result of a temperature inversion, where warm air meets cooler air and produces Fog. You who live there clearly (pun) see the difference!

Where I live we are faced with not so much visible pollution but very high Pollen counts which make it difficult to breath, especially for anyone with a respiratory condition or the very young or very old.

Nature's revenge. It seems there's a price to pay for the beautiful flowers and sweet smells... Undecided

Going by the colour of the fog I would have to guess that there is more than water vapour in it, but I think you made a valid point Art  Smiley

Mauritius declares environmental emergency after mass oil spill from grounded tanker

The ship was carrying nearly 4,000 tons of fuel when its hull cracked.

Another reason we have to cut our addiction to oil ASAP.

Oil companies, it's time to get smart and move over to renewables, we the humans don't want to see disasters like this or breath the filthy air from your dirty fuel production any more, enough is enough.   no-no
